Suki Rae

Suki studied acting and directing at Stephens College with Jean Muir and Addison Myers, at the University of California-Santa Barbara; the University of California Berkeley; the Weber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London (where she received an award for exceptional performance); NYU Graduate Theater Program; and HB Studios with Herbert Berghoff. She has acted in many plays and films in Chicago, Missouri, California and New York City. She has also done extensive background work appearing as a Featured Extra in "Across the Universe" directed by Julie Taymor as well as many other TV Shows and Films.

She wrote and directed two plays, "Dreamer of Dreams," performed at NYU, and "Mass Man," performed during her residency at Cornell Unviersity. She wrote text,music and lyrics,acted in,co-directed and produced her autobiographical muse-ical, "I Don't Wannabe a Wannabe" in a staged reading at the Writer's Voice in New York City.
